Bettye Johnson, 86, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012.

Bettye was born on May 9, 1926, in Brown County to Bessie and Ned Morris.  After World War II she and Jerrel moved to Ft. Worth.

She was retired from North Fort Worth Bank.  Bettye was a faithful servant and longtime member of Glenview Baptist Church.

Survivors:  Husband of 68 years, Jerrel D. Johnson; daughter, Deana Hopkins and husband, Mike; son, Alan Johnson and Wife Rhea; grandchildren, Jacob Hopkins and wife, Blair, Jeran Hopkins, Katie Thompson and husband, Josh, Ned Johnson and wife, Melissa; great grandchildren, Ella and Hogan Hopkins, Madison Butler, Nolan Thompson; and sisters Virginia Jessen and Yvonne Hansard.
