Grover E. Hallmark, age 74, died in 2007.  He was born July 20, 1933, in Flatwood, Texas, to E. O. (Pete) and Mozell (Bob) Hallmark of Carbon.  He graduated from Carbon High School.  He received an American Farmer Degree, the highest degree in Future Farmers of America.  After graduation, he farmed with his dad.  In 1956 he began working for Eastland National bank in the Bookkeeping Department and became bank president in 1976.  On November 21, 1953, he married Arduth Ruth Beaty on November 21, 1953.  They have one son, Robert Karl Hallmark, of Midland, Texas.  He efforts were tireless in continuing the economic growth in Eastland County.  He is survived by wife, son and three grandchildren; one sister Linda and husband, Pat Guy, of Granbury.
