Jenoise Lovell Allison, 86, of Carbon, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, in Eastland.  Services were held Dec. 8, 2007, at the First Baptist Church of Eastland.  Burial was in the Bear Springs Cemetery.  Mrs. Allison was born Feb. 28, 1921, in the Center Point Community, Carbon, Texas to Henry A. and Bonnie E (Greenwood) Lovell.  She graduated from Carbon High School and North Texas University in Denton.  She married Euell Allison on Aug. 30, 1942.  She taught school in Arlington, Scranton, and Carbon, retiring in 1983.  She was steadfastly dedicated to teaching and was active in Meals on Wheels and the Carbon Community Center.  Survivors include two children, Alvie Allison and his wife, Linda, of Arlington and Alice Ann Lowrie and her husband, Shane, of Cleburn; a sister, Bonnie Wynelle Brown of Carbon; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
