Zelda R. Jordan died Dec. 3, 2007, at the age of 80.  Services were held at Kokomo Baptist Church.  She was born in Brady, Texas, on Sept. 7, 1927, to James E. Lewallen and Lois Webb Lewallen.  She maried Glenn O. Jordan on Oct. 18, 1946, in Eastland.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1993.  Zelda was a homemaker and a member of the Kokomo Baptist Church.  She was also a member of Kokomo Community Center and Simpson Cemetery Association.  She had written the Kokomo News for local newspaper for many years.  She had worked for the Southwestern Peanut Growers Association for several years.  She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Joyce White and her husband of Anson; two sisters, LaVerne Winn of Muleshoe and Barbara Bell of Denver City; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Dean Jordan, and her parents and four brothers.
