Carrie, born April 7, 1963, was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver on November 20, 1982.  She was one of four killed while returning from an Eastland Maverick football game where her financee' Grandal Garrell, was a graduate and also a victim.  She was a cheerleader for the Wolverines all but her senior year and played basketball for the lady Wolverines and wore #25.  She is survive by her parents, Bryan and Frances Hayes and her brother, Travis Hays.
