Gaylon Park

Frank Gaylon Park, 41, died Monday, May 30, 1988, at a Ft. Worth hospital.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 1988, at Bakker Funeral Home Chapel in Eastland with Drs. David Harbour and Robert Jeffress officiating.  Burial was in Eastland Cemetery.

Born in Gorman, he lived in Carbon from 1950 to 1969,  He graduated from Carbon High School in 1965.  He was a barber for several years before serving in the Vietnam War with the U. S. Army.  He was employed as a customer service representative with the U.S. Postal Service in Ft. Worth, where he lived for the past 15 years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church Lakeside in Ft. Worth.

Survivors include his mother, Ned Park, of Eastland; two sisters Nell Files of Carbon and Joyce Bethany of Bend, Oregon; three nieces and a newphew.  He was a nephew of Mamie Love of Gorman.
