Graduated from Randolph Jr. College (now Cisco Jr. College) in 1932, and in 1941 graduated from Abilene Christian College. Received Master of Education in 1954 from Hardin-Simmons University. Taught elementary school for 38 years: 6 years in Loraine and 32 years in Abilene ISD. Member of the North Fifth and Grape Street Church of Christ. Taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Have 3 nephews, 2 great nephews, 4 great nieces and one great great nephew.
