Joye and I met at a Teen Age Canteen in Gorman. We Waltzed Across Texas. Two Stepted from the State Line of New Mexico in 1964 to the Pecos Valley City of Artesia, and have Jitterbugging ever since. I worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 42 years, and have been retired since 1993. God has Blessed us in many ways.
School Story:

We went to Carlsbad, New Mexico on our Senior Trip and it is down the road 36 miles. I think of the Trip often and the fun we had. Carbon is still very special to me and I go back home for a visit every chance I get. Carbon High? Gee! Those were the days my friend.

There was only 12 members of our class of i947 and Tincy Underwood Gorman, And I are all we can Locate. We think Jo Nell Hogan, Overstereet, is still with us, but as I spoke with Tincy just this past Sunday, on the phone. Neither of us know where she is located.Oh yes! Betty Collins is still alive but We understand that she is in very bad health, and knows not where she is or who is who. That's the story of our class right now.
