Angie Bryant (Clower)

Angela Bryant Clower of Cross Plains, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 30, 2012, after a long battle with ALS.  Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Carbon Community Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Jody Forbus.  Burial was in Murray Cemetery in Carbon, Texas, under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Angela was born on September 15, 1947 in Gorman to Truman and Wanda (Donaldson) Bryant.  She worked in the Eastland County Tax Collector office for over three years.  Angela enjoyed reading, writing letters, and above all, spending time with her family.  She devoted her life to serving the Lord.  Not only was she a born again Christian, she was a dedicated pastor's wife.  She was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church of Cross Plains and has lived in the Cross Plains area for twenty years.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Dwaine Clower of Cross Plains; her son, Keith Clower and wife Gayle of Sweetwater; her daughter, Wendy Forbus and husband Jody Forbus of Carbon;  her brother, Doug Bryant of Carbon; and her sister Candi Taylor and husband Bobby of Cristoval.  She also has five greandchildren who she loved and spoiled with everything in her, she was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Angela' sweet and loving spirit will be missed by many.
